ThePawPilot (thepawpilot.xyz) is a free resource of pet calculators and guides. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Contact form. If you message us through the contact form, we receive the details you choose to share — typically your name, email address and message — so we can reply. We don’t use this information for marketing.

No accounts. Our calculators and guides work without sign-up, so we don’t collect account details, and we never ask for payment information.

Comments. If you leave a comment on a guide, we collect the data shown in the comments form, plus your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working — for example, remembering your preferences and keeping the admin area secure for our editors. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use your information

• To reply to messages you send us.
• To keep the site secure and working properly.
• To understand, in aggregate, which content is helpful — without identifying individuals.

Sharing your information

Children’s privacy

ThePawPilot is a general-audience site not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.
